Thank you to all our loyal clients that have supported Martel Salon during this crazy time due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. The salon was closed by the Governor on March 18, 2020. WE ARE NOW REOPENING FRIDAY MAY 15, 2020. Martel Salon has put into place sanitation guidelines for the staff. Martel will be making changes as follows:

• Just know, we love you. But we can’t hug you.


• Staff and Clients are required to wear masks at all times.


• Please help flatten the curve and come alone. Nurse aides will be allowed to assist our clients who require assistance.


• No employee or client is permitted on the premises with symptoms of COVID-19.


• The salon has done a thorough cleaning. We will continue to clean our work surfaces, banisters, doorknobs and restrooms throughout our work day. We will also continue to sanitize our capes, smocks and towels between clients.


• We encourage everyone who enters the salon to wash their hands and we will provide hand sanitizers throughout the salon.


• The salon is only allowing one client per stylist inside the salon at a time. Clients waiting for their stylist to become available must wait outside. When weather permits, Martel will have a nice seating area outside for waiting clients.


• Martel has spaced stations so that all clients and workers can continue to social distance. Working areas are 6 feet apart to ensure our safety.


• Martel has taken down the online booking system and is asking that clients call 216.721.4100 for an appointment. This is to ensure we have everyone’s name and phone number in order to conduct tracing if needed.


• We will not be providing reading materials or our usual selection of candies.
